Wehrmacht: The main campaign, where players get to lead Germany through World War II in a series of historical and theoretical scenarios with the possibility of changing history.In this campaign, players command a group of recruits in a series of training missions against a second group of recruits controlled by the AI. Tutorial: The tutorial teaches the player the basics of the game.Most campaigns also give players the ability to choose which time period they want to start from. The base game is provided with 2 campaigns, the tutorial campaign and the Wehrmacht campaign, with additional campaigns provided by the various DLCs.
In campaign mode, the outcome of one scenario will determine the challenges a player faces in the following scenarios. Players can play a large branching campaign of linked scenarios where they build and maintain a core force throughout all of the scenarios. Panzer Corps also feature multiplayer using its PBEM++ multiplayer and extensive modding capabilities.
The game also features over 800 different units, across 19 different classes, with 20 different stats 17 terrain types, and all major and minor factions are represented. The campaign also allows players to build a core force that will travel with the player throughout the campaign and units can gain experience, be upgraded, or even obtain heroes of war. The game features a large branching campaign with 26 scenarios and the outcome of one scenario will determine the challenges a player faces in the following scenarios.
